A few days before the end of our family holiday in Cairns, QLD, my cousin Vanessa got in contact to organise a portrait session with her family of four. I was excited to be photographing the boys and their cheeky endeavours, and of course Jarrad came along to film. However, what I hadn’t told Jarrad, and swore secrecy to keep it from the rest of our family on holidays, was the subtext and real reason for the session. Vanessa and Ben wanted to surprise the boys with some exciting news.
